Class Notes is organising a one-day workshop titled Emerging Technologies, Changing Labour Law Framework, and Its Implications for Labour in Delhi.
The one-day workshop will feature presentations on theoretical issues and experiences of emerging technologies, with particular focus on the “fourth industrial revolution technologies,” and its implications for labour, the future of work and class politics, and experiences from various sectors like gig and platform, automotive, garment, electronics, AI, domestic, sanitation, and rural labour. This will be followed by discussions of the changing labour law framework and the challenges it presents before the contemporary trade union movement.
